Careers

Past students

Over 200 students have completed the full and part-time courses at St Andrews, and our students have a very good record of obtaining jobs in museums or related organisations. Of the 85% of students for whom we have records, 90% are now working in museums or heritage related jobs, or have gone on to advanced research or further training.

For recent graduates, it is important to let us know what relevant experience you gain, including voluntary work or temporary posts, so that information can be kept up to date for reference purposes and for the circulation of information on job vacancies. We are sometimes asked about the availability of ex-students for short-term posts, and can only recommend you if we know where you are.

We are always interested to know how our past students are getting on, and where your careers have taken you, so please contact us:

Where are you now?
