The Careers Centre exists to enable current students and graduates of St Andrews to make and successfully implement decisions about what they will do next in their lives. The Centre strives to communicate the entire range of available options and to encourage and enable individuals to identify the options which would suit them best. The Careers Centre is strongly committed to offering equality of opportunity to all its users and is committed to offering impartial and objective advice and guidance and to respecting the confidentiality of any personal information we may receive. You may wish to look at our statement of service and other policy statements.

Opening times

Monday to Friday: 10am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 5:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: closed

Any other closures, including the Christmas vacation, will be detailed on our website.

Eligibility

The Careers Centre offers services to:

  • matriculated University of St Andrews students
  • alumni of the University of St Andrews (where we are able to help, bearing in mind that our core expertise is with immediate graduate labour markets and further study options)
  • staff members of the University of St Andrews (where we are able to help, as for alumni above)

When other demands allow, we may also offer our services to dependents of staff members; to graduate spouses/partners of students or staff members and to recent graduates of other universities who are resident in the area.
