BA (International Honours) Joint Degree Programme

2016 BA cohort at graduation

About the programme

"Whether you are studying Economics, English, History or International Relations, as a BA (International Honours) student you are part of a unique and truly international joint degree programme between the College of William and Mary and the University of St Andrews.  You are a member of a very special community which transcends borders and fosters a global outlook, enriching both universities with fresh ideas and perspectives." Professor Lorna Milne, Vice-Principal (Proctor)

The William & Mary joint degree is offered in collaboration with the College of William & Mary in Virginia, USA. Students can study Classical Studies, Economics, English, Film Studies and History or International Relations, spending two years in St Andrews and two years in the USA.  The BA (International Honours) is a four-year undergraduate degree that combines the best of the Scottish and American educational experience. It will be jointly awarded by both institutions and, uniquely, will bear the insignia of both.
